CAMPING WITH PETS

Do you have a story you feel just has to be published?   I am em”barking” on a new adventure that has me so excited I can hardly sit still.  A short time back, I was approached by Dwight Brown, the sales/finance manager at DJ’s RV Sales in Bolivar, MO and Joanna Lucas, the owner, about the possibility of writing a book about camping and, more specifically, about camping with pets.  I think I can do that!  At least, it would be fun to give it a try, so this is what has been decided:  they are commissioning me to write a book!  They are providing a motor home for me and making reservations at their partnership campgrounds and various sites.  Taffy, Phoenix and I have hit the road in a cloud of dust.  Oh the joy of doing what I enjoy most; talking with people and traveling!  I am interviewing campers to get their funny, exciting or scary camping stories, especially the ones that involve pets.  I’m thinking I will even add a section in the book for good camping tips and tricks.  If a story makes it into my book, the person who told it will get credit for it, so if you have a camping story that’s burning your brain, keep track of our adventures, meet us at a camp ground, and we’ll talk.
